SARANAC LAKE - Roma Commo, 63, of 100 Lake Street died Sunday afternoon at Mary Fletcher Hospital in Burlington, Vt.

She was born in Saranac Lake, a daughter of William and Jessie Duso Denning.

Her husband, Leo A. Commo, who owned and operated C.C. Studios in Saranac Lake, died in April, 1968.

Mrs. Commo is survived by two cousins, Mrs. Catherine Biddle of Philadelphia, Pa., and Harry E. Duso Sr. of Saranac Lake and a brother-in-law, Medor Commo of Saranac Lake.

She was a graduate of Saranac Lake high school in 1931. She attended Julliard School of Music and the Catherine Gibbs Secretarial School in New York City.

For many years, she worked as a medical secretary for a number of local physicians. Mrs. Commo was employed by AMA from 1970 until her retirement in July, 1974.

Friends may call at the Fortune Funeral Home at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral service will be said at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. C.J. McAvoy, pastor of St. Bernard's Church, officiating. Interment will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery in May.
