Theressa Rose Bruzza Urgo inherited the Linwood Cottage from her mother, Rose Bruzza in 1950. She and her husband decided to have it torn down in 1953, as it had fallen into disrepair.

SARANAC LAKE - Mrs. Theresa Rose Urgo, 77, a lifelong resident, died Monday afternoon at the General Hospital of Saranac Lake. She was born in Saranac Lake on August 15, 1900, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bruzza. She was the wife of the late Paschall Urgo, who died In 1957.
She had been a resident of Uihlein Mercy Center in Lake Placid for the last few years of her life.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Keough and Son Memorial Chapels, with the Rev. C. John McAvoy officiating.
Interment will be at Pine Ridge Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours.
