Sanford Curtis Hayes III, is a son of S. Curtis Hayes of the real estate firm by the same name. He obtained his first real estate license at age 20 in 1963. He obtained a real estate broker's license, when first eligible at age 21 in 1964.
He spoke in spring of 2012 at Historic Saranac Lake about his experiences in real estate development and dealing with the Adirondack Park Agency.
