The Porch was operated by Larry Quigley and Naomi Quigley, according to a liquor license notice in the Enterprise in 1952. In 1955, the license was in the name of F. Hubert McKillip,  From 1959 on, the license was in the name of William Lamb and Inez Wilson.

The Porch advertised in the Adirondack Daily Enterprise from 1952 to 1953.

  It operated until c. 1970.

Not to be confused with the Noyes Cottage at 16 Helen Street, which Glenn and Susan Arnold operated as a bed and breakfast called "The Porches" in the late 20th century.
