CARPENTER—OTIS.—At the home of the bride, Lake Clear, N. Y., on Monday, Nov. 18, 1901, by tbe Rev. Mr. Lush, B. Floyd Carpenter, of New York city, to Miss Zoe Otis.

Miss Otis is the daughter of S. Edwin Otis, of Lake Clear, and is a charmlng younglady. Mr. Carpenter, formerly of New York city, is a young man of sterling qualities and has won the esteem of all who have met him since he came to the mountains a few years ago. The wedding occurred at "Lake Side Rest," only the immediate friends and relatives being present. The wedding gifts were many and beautiful, the gift to the bride from the groom's father being a diamond ring and $100 in gold. After the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Carpenter departed for Montreal, amid showers of rice, on an extended wedding tour.
