Loon Lake Mountain is a 3,314-foot mountain three miles west of Loon Lake. A 2.7-mile trail from the Kushaqua Mud Pond Road near Grass Pond leads to the summit. There is a 35-foot fire tower on top, erected in 1912 after forest fires in 1903 and 1908.
