Oasis is a dance club and bar/restaurant once known as Common Ground which reopened with its new name in January of 2009. Early in the evening they serve dinner, but later on they switch to a menu of appetizers and drinks. Some of these appetizers include crab cakes, quesadillas, chicken wings, and sweet potato fries.
Late on Friday and Saturday nights the bar is probably the closest thing to a gay club that Ithaca has to offer, with a large dance floor, and fast paced dance music. However, they also have many "themed nights", such as Wednesday trivia night and karaoke night, that tend to attract mixed crowds.
