The Uptown Piano appeared in Waterloo Town Square in July of 2012.
It is located at the north-east corner of the square, facing King Street.
It is available for members of the public to play when visiting the square. According to information on the City of Waterloo website, the piano is not used during certain public programs.
It is covered by a simple white tarpaulin to prevent it from being rained on.
A piano was donated by a member of the community.
If bad weather is in the forecast and you see the piano uncovered please cover it with the tarp to keep it protected.
