Add a captionFounded in 2005 under the organization name ME³, Activate Good is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves as a Volunteer Center for Raleigh, Wake County, and surrounding areas.

Activate Good's mission is to "activate volunteers to help causes in our local community." Activate Good seeks to achieve this mission by connecting individuals, groups, and companies to volunteer needs with partnering nonprofits in Wake County and surrounding areas through an online volunteer community and by empowering the next generation of young volunteers and community leaders through its Activate Schools initiative.

Events

Activate Good's signature annual fundraiser is Couture for a Cause, a fashion show that pairs partnering nonprofits with area designers to create looks inspired by the missions and spirits of those nonprofits. Couture for a Cause takes place in the Fall.

People

Activate Good is led by a board of directors.  Additionally, teams of volunteers specializing in areas like marketing, fundraising, and volunteer outreach also work with Activate Good to help fulfill its mission.
