Alan Adams is a wildlife enthusiast and wood craftsman recently relocated to the Raleigh Area.  He was born and raised in Detroit Michigan.  After graduating from Michigan Technological University, he worked in the oil patch in Colorado, Wyoming, Oklahoma, and Texas, and finally settled for 28 years in Kansas City, Missouri.  After working for a large Midwestern greeting card company, he retired early and moved his wife and 5 dogs to the Raleigh, North Carolina area where he works as an IT consultant and makes wooden whirligigs and toys, and photographs wildlife to keep busy.
