The building at 14 East Peace Street in Raleigh, NC is currently the headquarters of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), North Carolina Chapter. The building opened in 2012.  Membership in the NC chapter of AIA is open to professional architects in the state of North Carolina.

March 17, 2012 - AIA NC Center for Architecture and Design "Green and

Grand" Opening On Saturday, March 17, the North Carolina Chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA NC) will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with the “Green and Grand Opening” of its new Center for Architecture and Design (CfAD) at 14 E. Peace Street in downtown Raleigh. The event is scheduled to begin at 1 pm and last until 8 o’clock. The public is invited to come out to enjoy tours of the building, the opening of the Appalachian State Solar Decathlon exhibit, ice-cream, and a ribbon cutting ceremony.
