The Court of North Carolina a large grassy quad area on the eastern edge of north campus. It is one of the largest green spaces on north campus, and a popular gathering spot for students and outdoor events.

Location

The Court of North Carolina lays parallel to Hillsborough street. To the north, in between the court and Hillsborough street, are the academic buildings Winston, Caldwell and Tompkins. To the south are the academic buildings Page, Poe, and Leazar. To the West is the 1911 Building, and to the south is Peele Hall.

Activities

The Court of North Carolina is a great spot to take a nap during the day, or to play a pickup game of football, soccer, etc. The Court of North Carolina can be reserved for events through the SORC office.
