Optimist Park, located in the Northclift Neighborhood of North Raleigh, is a part of the City of Raleigh Parks System. Optimist Park includes a community center, the heated Optimist Pool, and outdoor features such as playgrounds, ball fields and tennis courts. The community center serves as the current polling place for Raleigh Precinct 01-39. The greenway system connects Optimist Park with Shelley Lake and points beyond.
Optimist Park is adjacent to Sanderson High School.
