The Rockford is one of the older businesses on Glenwood South, unlike the many changing bars and restaurants along this street, The Rockford has stood the test of time. It is hidden above some shops, with no more than their name on the door stating their existence. However, once you discover it, you'll be glad you did.

In 1994, The Rockford opened its doors. At the time, it was the only bar or restaurant in the now bustling strip known as Glenwood South. Its lack of signage provided its patrons with a lucky discovery as they stumbled upon its inconspicuous upstairs location. Many had heard through the grapevine of the Rockford’s charming coppertop bar.

Good choices for both vegetarians and non, as well as a good place just to get a drink.
