I moved here from a small town that claims to be “the crossroads of the future” in a county that is coincidentally shaped like Bart Simpson’s head. A few years later, I made an effort to get left behind in Peru (the top of Machu Picchu would have been just fine) but ended up back in Raleigh… absolutely one of the best places to live. My love for Raleigh, downtown, Hillsborough Street, and all of their surrounding neighborhoods (and so much more) is why I started the blog, Downtown Dame.
