Description
Sk8 Park is part of the Cary Parks system. It's located inside Robert V. Godbold Park off of Maynard Road between Harrison and Chapel Hill Rod. The big attraction are the half-pipes.
Sk8 Park can accommodate skateboarders, in-line skaters and BMX bikers. The park features a 12,000 square foot street course, ramps, a pro shop, concession area, restrooms and a covered viewing area.
Since bikers and skaters can't use the park at the same time, the park's schedule designates specific time slots for each type of user. A complete schedule can beviewed online.
Fees for using the park vary depending on whether or not the user is a resident of Cary and whether or not they have purchased a Sk8-Cary Membership ($25-50). In general, expect a session to cost about $10 if you're not a park member.
Hours of Operation
Monday through Thursday: 3-10 p.m.
Friday through Sunday: Noon-10 p.m.
