R15 is a hybrid sports bar, pool hall and preppy drinking joint that shares its menu and some space with Sacramento's newest Cafe Bernardo. The bar is a Randy Paragary creation, similar to the Monkey Bar that is attached to the Cafe Bernardo at Capitol and 28th in Sacramento and the Bernardo Bar and Cafe Bernardo at 234 D Street in Davis.

The venue is named for its location, 15th and R streets. It has a decent patio, more than a dozen flat screen TVs, several pool tables, and two private-ish small living rooms with their own flat screen TVs. Red is the predominant theme.
