In Santa Cruz 1979-1990

California Savings and Loan was founded in 1887 in San Francisco. They had one branch in Santa Cruz starting in 1979. California Savings and Loan left Santa Cruz in 1990. From 1991 to 1993 it could still be found in the Santa Cruz Telephone Directory, but listing the branch in Campbell, California. The Savings & Loan was located at the corner of Soquel Avenue and Pacific Avenue. At that time it was also called Pacific Garden Mall.

In 1995 California Savings and Loan became California Savings Bank.

California Savings Bank became Pacific National Bank in 2007.

On October 30, 2009, Pacific National Bank was acquired by US Bank National Association.
