CeCe Pinheiro is a 2012 Santa Cruz City Council Candidate. She is a former school board trustee, she was active in local gay-straight alliances in the schools, she is active with Special Parents Information Network (SPIN), and she was on the board of directors of Community Television of Santa Cruz County from 1997-2001.
Pinheiro is a fourth generation Santa Cruzan, and she graduated from Santa Cruz High School in 1975. She worked for 15 years in the school system and eventually became union president.
