Lighthouse Point, is the local term for  Santa Cruz,Point.  It is across the street from Lighthouse Field State Park. It includes the Mark Abbott Memorial Lighthouse and the Santa Cruz Surfing Museum, and of course the world famous Steamer Lane surfing spot. To its north is Its Beach. The maps still list it as Santa Cruz Point.
