On June 13, 2011, Marie Callender's parent company Perkins & Marie Callender’s Inc., has filed a voluntary petition for reorganization under chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code in order to implement the agreed-upon terms of the financial restructuring. As part of its restructuring plan, the Company also announced the closing of several of their restaurants, including this Capitola location.
