Mission Statement |

The principle focus of the Monterey Bay Academy of Dance is to provide the highest |
|
quality of training to students pursuing a career in classical ballet and to students |
|
studying for self-enrichment purposes. Cecchetti (the classical Italian method) |
|
technique augmented with Russian is utilized to promote, provide, and train dancers |
|
with a thorough knowledge of the art of classical ballet. A balance of dance training |
|
outside of classical ballet is important for a dancer as well. For this reason, We will |
|
bring in qualified dance teachers or recommend dance teachers who can provide |
|
quality instruction in a variety of styles. |
