Pink Godzilla is a popular spot for sushi, a bit down the street from the Capitola Mall.
If you have a group of people, call ahead to reserve a private room. It's doesn't cost extra as long as the party spends $30/hr. Consider teaming up with a friend or lover to split the Fresh Fish Dinner, which is 14 pieces of assorted sashimi, 6 maki, 6 nigiri, rice, soup, and salad for about $19. It is, to put it mildly, a hell of a lot of fish.
If you fail to make a reservation, expect waits up to an hour on weekends. Hungry and impatient? Try Naka Sushi, across the street, they might be able to accomodate you.
