The Santa Cruz Yacht Club is a member of the PICYA (Pacific Inter-Club Yacht Association
of Northern California). First and foremost, the Santa Cruz Yacht Club exists to promote the
“Good of Yachting.”

The Santa Cruz Yacht Club organizes activities such as sailboat racing, cruising, fishing, social events, and a junior sailing program, and sponsors events such as the Windjammers Regatta, the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Benefit Regatta, one design races, SCORE (Santa Cruz Ocean Racing Extravaganza), the West Marine Fun Regatta, and the Lighted Boat Parade.
