Former businesses in this location included Denny's. It was run by the same people as Scotts Valley Diner. While it was a Denny's it was noted for being one of the few Denny's in California that did NOT accept Discover Card. Also, for several years (circa 1996-2006) they would not replace the one failed light inside their main sign.
The vacant Scotts Valley Diner building was demolished in May, 2010, and was replaced with a Jack in the Box restaurant.
