| Mission Statement |
| The purpose of Sempervirens Fund is to preserve and protect the natural character of California's Santa Cruz Mountains and to encourage appropriate public enjoyment of this environment. We seek to achieve this purpose in several ways: by acquiring suitable land in a working partnership with the State of California and other public and private agencies, by completing Big Basin Redwoods and Castle Rock state parks, by fostering public participation in activities such as reforestation and trail projects, and by linking parks and open spaces to provide an integrated parkland system. |
