2010-04-13 12:31:43 I've had the opportunity and pleasure to see Tammi Brown perform on many occasions - but in particular, with the White Album Ensemble and the Santa Cruz Symphony. It was an experience I'll never forget. Her voice was indeed AMAZING! The hair on the back of my neck stood up. Again, her VOICE was so beautiful, the rich tone of it, her phrasing, her stage presence and something else...something magical — I can't explain it!! My husband leaned over to me and said "I haven't heard anyone sing like this since the days of Ella Fitzgerald, Aretha Franklin, etc." I saw tears in his eyes, tears were in my eyes too!! I looked around to see if anyone else was experiencing what we were experiencing. Many people were trying to hold back tears!! When she finished people leaped to their feet. I still couldn't believe what I had just experienced. Felt like a sheet of joy and love washed over me!! I told my husband, "I'm glad we got to see her now before she becomes one of the biggest stars this world has ever known!!" I strongly recommend you go hear Ms. Brown perform.
