Description of Work
Tandy Beal is a local dancer, instructor, and choreographer. She has organized a number of productions over the years with Tandy Beal & Company, including regular performances of a contemporary dance version of the Nutcracker, which originally premiered in 1982. She currently is also artistic director of the Pickle Family Circus. In the past she has worked with Bobby McFerrin, she choreographed 65 life-sized puppets for Frank Zappa, and she also choreographed all the major characters in Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas.
