(From the website:) Mix together old-time brother duets from the mountains and good ol’ honky-tonk country songs, add in some blazing bluegrass-style solos and tight sibling harmonies, and you get an idea of what an Abbott Brothers show is like. The songs are fresh takes on time-tested gems of old; Hank Williams, the Stanley Brothers, and Doc Watson are all well-represented here. The Smothers Brothers are often referenced by those who see their live shows as well. But this is no copy-cat band. Beneath that new-band sheen lies a pair of brothers that have been intimately comfortable on stage for years.
Luke and Kyle also perform with their mother and father as The Abbott Family Band.
Live Shows
Locally, the Abbott Brothers have performed at Don Quixote's, The Crow's Nest, The Abbey, Companion Bakeshop, Conscious Creations, and Kuumbwa Jazz.
Releases
Their debut EP is titled Trifecta and can be streamed on their website. They have also a bunch of videos on YouTube.
