Twelve Days at Santa Cruz is a photo book with short passages of historical information added about the area. The photos were the results of a twelve day photo workshop led by Ansel Adams and Beaumont and Nancy Newhall through the University Extension program at UCSC in the summer of 1967. The book is 39 pages long, and features a wide variety of photos of the area including views of Holy Cross Church, Messiah Lutheran Church, the cement plant in Davenport, Bargetto Winery, Santa Cruz Harbor, the Boardwalk, and the campus of UCSC. None of the photos are credited to specific individuals. Elizabeth Speddings Calciano provided information for the historical references in the book.
