The UCSC Arboretum is home to thousands of varieties of plants, shrubs, and trees, and is located on the UCSC campus. There is also a little shop called Norrie's Gifts, which sells plants and other gifts and closes at 4pm. The entrance to the Arboretum is on High Street, half a mile past the campus main entrance.
