As of 2009 US Bank is the sixth largest bank in the USA. US Bank came to Santa Cruz County by buying branches of Bay View Bank in November of 2002. Since the "US" part of the name are initials (presumably for "United States") the branches are listed at the start of the "U" listings in the AT&T phone book.
