Describe Users/kokomokid here I am Family to owners of the Sail Inn lounge and Rivers Country Palace. I grew up in Santa Cruz from 1969 to 1989. Moved away after 1989 Earth Quake. I also played Music in Santa Cruz(Stetson Band) Patty Peterson of now Room Shakers,( Anthony Butt,)(Keith McDowell), (Chopper Wilson) currently playing with Mark Herndon in Huntsville Alabama. I played at various places in town, Scotts valley at Johnies Valley lounge, (Cimmaron Rose). Polivios Back Door, Night Owl, Castaways, Lorraines Packing shed of Watsonville, Fair Circuits,etc.. Bay View Hotel in Aptos in a group called On Fire . Stetson Band has opened for Waylon Jennings, Lacy J Dalton, Willie Nelson.
Other members of my family played all over Santa Cruz in a band called The Family Addition: Shirley Jennings, Carolyn Ross, Patricia Wood, Walt Gafvert, and Jimmie Rogers.
I am a Fifth generation musician with lots of musical history of not only Santa Cruz, but across the United States. Shirley Jennings who is alive and well toured with Billy Armstrong Allen Brothers Show, and many others and recorded in Nashville Tennessee. When Landmark places like O.T Prices are mentioned, we " being my family" built and converted that building into a business an nightclub which was purchased by O.T. Price. My family also built upon our name sake thriving business at Sail Inn Lounge.
