Description of Work

Verna Henn Brady was a local painter and artist who showed her work nationally in more than 24 solo shows and 50 group shows. In addition, over 100 of her pieces are held in private and public collections. She first arrived in the area in 1979 when she and her husband bought a vacation home in Felton. In 1985 the couple moved here permanently. Locally, she showed her work out of her studio for years as part of the Open Studios Art Tour, and from 1986 to 1989 she was curator for the Eloise Pickard Smith Gallery in Cowell College at UCSC. She passed away in 2008 at the age of 82.
