Haight Street is a San Francisco street in the Haight Ashbury neighborhood most notable as a meeting place and home of the hippy culture of the '60s. Today it has become more of a tourist trap, filled with trinket shops and restaurants. At the west end of Haight Street is an entrance to Golden Gate Park.

In the late '90s the shape of the Haight had changed considerably, but many youth still find themselves living on and around Haight Street today. SF Weekly carried a story in 2006 about this: Whose Haight?
