Mr. Pickle is a sandwich shop in the Mission that makes excellent sandwiches. They're not crazy artisan or whatever, but they're big, and reasonably priced, and you don't have to wait as long as Ike's.
Mr. Pickle is obviously related to, though apparently not/no longer an official franchise of, the Mr. Pickle chain that has many locations in Northern California.
The iconic bandoliered Mr. Pickle standup was stolen for about three months in 2009 before finally being returned by the guilty bandit.
