To get there on public transportation, take the M-Ocean View Muni train or the 17, 26, 28 or 29 bus lines.
The university runs a shuttle from the Daly City BART station through the Stonestown Apartments to campus, and back again. You don't need to show ID or pay so you can ride it even if you're not a student. the university's shuttle website.
