Their retro-style sign on Jefferson Whiteys is *packed* during lunch

Whitey's Jolly Kone is a trip back in time—in decor, flavor and best of all, prices! The Whitey's Special hamburger is a treat, and their milkshakes are what they're known for. There are a few picnic tables to sit at, some in the shade, others in the sun. They tend to have modest servings but each item is priced between $1~$4 so it's a great opportunity to sample many different things. They are famous for their fresh peach shake which they serve when peach season is in full swing and it's well worth the off-season wait. In the summer, they host classic car nights on the last Thursday of the month. Often kid's hold car wash fundraisers in their parking lot on the weekends.

Opened in the mid 70's by Emile "Whitey" Boisclair,and now operated by his daughter Paula and son in law, Steve.
