Cox Creek is a seasonal creek in Spenceville State Wildlife Area. It is formed by the confluence of Daugherty Creek and Dempsey Creek and flows about 3.5 miles before entering the more southern of the two Yuba County creeks called Dry Creek. It is maintained with water purchased by the California Department of Fish and Game from the Nevada Irrigation District.1
