Donovan Hill is a hill in Yuba County. It is located south of Sugarloaf, west of Stanfield Hill (the town) and Collins Lake, northwest of Stanfield Hill (the hill), north of McGinn Hill, and northeast of Paynes Peak. Its elevation is 1,624 feet,1 and its prominence above the surrounding countryside is about 540 feet.2

Donovan Hill is part of the 1,762-acre Donovan Hill Unit of Daugherty Hill State Wildlife Area. The Donovan Hill Unit is the second-largest and the most centrally located of the three units in Daugherty Hill State Wildlife Area and is located west of Collins Lake.
