Horseshoe Lake is the name of two lakes in Sutter County.

One is a cutoff portion of the Sacramento River about two miles southwest of Kirkville. It is one of a group of four such lakes; the others are Hiatt Lake (the northernmost), Collins Eddy (directly north of Horseshoe Lake), and Mystic Lake (the southernmost, directly south of Horseshoe Lake). Hiatt Lake and Mystic Lake are quite shallow and largely dry up each summer, but Horseshoe Lake and Collins Eddy are deeper.

The other is a lake about one mile southwest of Karnak, near Wild Irishman Bend.

There is also a Horseshoe Pond at Horseshoe Flat in Spenceville State Wildlife Area, in Yuba County.
