Insects of the Yuba-Sutter area include non-native agricultural pests such as Gill's pistachio mealybug, Eucalyptus long-horned borer, and Asian woolly hackberry aphid, as well as non-native agricultural helpers such as the European honey bee. They also include the native box elder bug, large milkweed bug, and Valley elderberry longhorn beetle, all of which are found in both Yuba and Sutter Counties.
