Lake Minden (also called Naco West Lake Minden) is lake in south Nicolaus. It is located on the north side of Marcum Road at Powerline Road. It is part of a private, members-only RV campground system called Thousand Trails. (Lake of the Springs in Oregon House is also part of the Thousand Trails system.) The Lake Minden private recreation area is 157 acres with 264 RV campsites. Amenities include an adult lodge, family lodge, fish cleaning station, playground, trading post, TV room, and volleyball court. Full trailer hook-ups, horseshoe pits, laundry facilities, and showers are also provided. Cabins and cottages are available for rent. Boating is permitted. The lake is stocked annually with bass, bluegill, and catfish.
