Little Poker Bend is a bend in the Sacramento River west of Hiatt Road in southern Kirkville. It is named for the way the shape of the river at this point resembles a poker projecting toward Yolo County, and for the fact that it is smaller than the similarly shaped Poker Bend slightly north of it. The bend directly between Poker Bend and Little Poker Bend, in which the river veers toward Sutter County instead, is called China Bend.
