Plumas Street is a major street in Yuba City that runs directly through the Yuba City Town Center (also known as the Plumas Street fountain). South of the fountain, Plumas Street is known as Plumas Boulevard.

From north to south, significant places on Plumas Street include Fremont Medical Center, First Baptist Church of Yuba City, California Red's Café, La Plazita Foods, Gotta Luv Books, Yuba City Post Office, Town Pump‎, The Spur, The Happy Viking Sports Pub and Eatery, Kaffe T Latta, Linda's Soda Bar and Grill, Discoteca Vallarta, Downtown Shoe Repair, Chikara Sushi Japanese Cuisine and Sushi Bar, Plumas Tower Plaza Mini-Park, and Yuba City Town Center.

Significant places on Plumas Boulevard include Book House.

In 1891, botanist Willis Linn Jepson collected samples of smallhead field clovers,1 fleshy lupines,2 and vernal pool popcornflowers3 in the area now bounded by Forbes Avenue and Bridge Street to the north and south and by Plumas Street and Clark Avenue to the east and west, creating a valuable historic record of the native plants that grew in the area. These plants are rarely seen in Yuba City today.
