Poker Bend is a bend in the Sacramento River west of Kirkville Road in Kirkville. It is named for the way the shape of the river at this point resembles a poker projecting toward Yolo County. A smaller, similarly shaped bend slightly south of Poker Bend is called Little Poker Bend.

The bend directly north of Poker Bend, in which the river veers toward Sutter County, is called Racetrack Bend, while the bend directly south of Poker Bend, in which the river veers back toward Sutter County, is called China Bend. Little Poker Bend is directly south of China Bend.
