The new zoo is the second zoo built in Two Guns in the 1940s. Its location was moved due to the realignment of Route 66. Similarly to the old zoo, this one housed many desert animals. Currently a decent portion of the building remains, with "MOUNTAIN LIONS" very visibly written on the front wall. Behind the front wall, many wooden structures and chicken wire cages are still present.
