Barter Stage II is located at Porterfield Square, just across Main Street from the Barter Theatre Main Stage. Stage II is a very intimate setting for more adventurous and offbeat works with around 170 seats -- the front row being mere inches from the floor-level stage. It is also the home of the Appalachian Festival of Plays and Playwrights, held each Summer.
