4. Business Arising
4.1 Jean reported on meeting held with Rick, Ann, Phil, Jean and Greg Sarre [DCMB] re. District Business Plan and where our Strategic Plan could fit. Greg showed timetable of goals for the Council forward 20 years, broken into smaller time table priorities. Draft BP is still open for comment. Greg recommended that Hahndorf should make submission for funds for a revised Master Plan. Littlehampton has been provided with $50,000 for a Master Plan [Glebe land especially] It was resolved that HCA should submit a request for funding for a revised Master Plan for Hahndorf. 4.2 Dave Collins DCMB Major Projects Officer Engineering joined the above meeting. Recommended that Heavy Vehicle Traffic be addressed in the Master Plan submission.
4.3 Meeting with Peter McGinn at HCA Committee May 13 follow up . Peter has sent recommendation of further meeting with licensee, HBTA HCA re Dry Zone further successful management. Action Ann. Some issues with noise from concert at Old Mill
4.4 Speaker and Hall booked for AGM September 16th Dr Chris Daniels Mt Lofty Natural Resource Management Chair

6. Reports
6.1 Financial Balance & 3518. $871 set aside for 175th booklet [ being worked on slowly]
6.2 Entrance Statement . Jeff reported that i. Management agreement for use of Palma's land is required.
ii. Design needed Suggestion that Uni SA architecture students may be approached. Anni provided a concept of Corton Steel shape of MIll.Tony explained QR codes .ie Info to phones/tablets at set locations with code.which contains details of the local community. QR should be incorporated into entry statement.
6.3 Council Matters.Mardi Zeunert,PR for traders is doing a positive job bringing tourists to town through facebook and digital media. Item in next weekend paper.101 things to do in winter.
* NBN coming to Hahndorf March 2016. Hahndorf is one of 3 council areas Mt Barker, Marion,Mitcham
* 3% increase in rates
* growth is beginning in Mt Barker - In one development 100 blocks for sale, 75%sold.
* review of VIC imminent.
6.4 Heritage sub committee - no report - concern at NO 64 successive additions.
6.5 Heavy Vehicle matters . in DCMB hands refer 4.2 . Maureen will speak with Phil re her concerns.
6.6 Nixons Mill project Eric reported that the first sod will be turned shortly. plan for landscaping tabled. Andrew Gotzheim will retire soon , working 2 days per week for DCMB therfore ongoing contact..
6.7 Village Voice Tony requested larger font in future Ann aware. Thankyou to Gail for the effort in preparing Village Voice Winter edition
6.8 Tony requested help in keeping minutes up to date on Hahn Wikki Jean offered aassistance Ann to contact Tony. Suggested that Facebook be a corridoor for communication. Agenda July meeting Speak to Mardi re recent traders training . Action Ann
7. General Business
A letter of congratulations be sent to Reg Butler upon award of Order od Australia medal in Birthday Honours list. Action Ann
