Minutes of Committee Meeting Held at 9.30 on Wednesday September 10th 2014
in the Hahndorf Institute Supper Room

3. Minutes of Previous Meeting August 13 2014

4. Chairman Mike welcomed Mr Greg Waller, Head of Planning and Development DCMB.
Cr Bettcher gave overview of Mr Waller's business background. Mr Waller spoke of the types of planning in order for us to understand the processes undertaken by Council ie Legislative Planning and Strategic Planning. [Copy of notes attached.] Questions followed. Chairman Mike thanked Greg for his time and really clear explanations .

Financial as at 9/9 2014 Balance $4024.92 Donation of $100 Cr Bettcher to 175th fund. Donation from Institute for Remembrance Day PA. Expenses W Williams V V costs $156.70
175th Celebrations Lanterns distributed by school children Friday 19th. Quiz Night at 6.30 in the Old Mill Nibbles supplied Light meal at cost. Can HCA make up a table? Sat. 20th Former spots persons lunches Tree planting for Founding familes meet at Amblesdie Rd at 2.00pm Sun 21 Long lunch. Set up marquees at 9.00am. Food stalls 175th Parade Meet at Balhannah Rd/Strempel Ave at 3.15. Carry HCA small banners to PIoneer Memorial Gardens. Dress in costume if desired. Legislative requirements all in line 2 bands. Police escort, CFS, Traffic Management Company hired - all for safety. Traffic marshalls training on Thursday 11.
State Planning Document Jean reported that the document carries some good suggestions, and important possibilities for process. All check on internet, so discussion may occur.
Nixons Mill Project has bogged down with other issues clouding the process in mind. Andrew Gottzheim now in charge.
Council Matters i. Council in Caretaker mode as from September 15th. ii. B Doubles not permitted on Main St However definition is 7+ axles and 25 metres long. iii. request a keep clear sign at Hereford Ave. iv. Country Cabinet on Sept 14th. v. Application for a resort at top Windsor Ave.
